Why will we process your data and on what legal bases?
Staff selection: We process the data of candidates who apply for our job vacancies for the management and control of our staff selection processes.
The legal bases for this processing are the adoption of pre-contractual measures at your own request, under the provisions of Article 6.1b) of the GDPR.
How did we obtain your data?
The data processed for these purposes is obtained from the CV you have provided us with, either directly or through the job website where you registered to participate in one of our selection processes, as well as from any interviews and technical tests that may be carried out. The categories of data processed for these purposes are as follows:
• Identification and contact details, such as national identity card number/foreign national identity number/residence permit (if applicable), name and surname(s), address, telephone number, email address and photograph included in the CV (if applicable);
• Personal characteristics data, such as nationality;
• Academic and professional details;
• Employment details;
• Where applicable, existence of disability and degree thereof in compliance with the obligation imposed by Article 42.1 of Royal Decree-Law 1/2013 of 29 November, approving the Consolidated Text of the General Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and their Social Inclusion;
• Data generated by the process itself, e.g. communications with the candidate, interview reports, technical test results, etc.;
How long will we keep your data?
In general, we keep your data for as long as necessary to manage your participation in our selection processes and, in any case, for the periods provided for in the applicable legal provisions and for as long as necessary to meet any liabilities arising from the processing. We will delete your data when it is no longer necessary or relevant for the purposes for which it was collected. Specifically, selection files will be deleted one year after the end of the process. However, if you are hired, the data relating to your selection process will be kept in your employment file.
Who can we share your data with?
We won't share your details unless we're legally required to or we have your prior consent.
What are your rights?
You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether we are processing your personal data and, if so, to access it. You may also request that your data be corrected when it is inaccurate or that incomplete data be completed, as well as request its deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected
In these circumstances, you may request that the processing of your data be limited. In this case, we will only process the data to be processed for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of other persons.
Under certain conditions and for reasons related to your particular situation, you may also object to the processing of your data. In this case, we will stop processing the data, except for compelling legitimate reasons that prevail over your interests or rights and freedoms, or for the formulation, exercise or defence of claims.
You may revoke the consent you have given for certain purposes, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent prior to its withdrawal, and lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency. We inform you that the European Regulation on Personal Data Protection also recognises your right to data portability.
